Muscovite or Phlogopite Mica paper tubes

Mica Paper Tube

Muscovite or Phlogopite Mica paper tubes bonded with a choice of resins. As a custom tube manufacturer, Asheville Mica Company offers Mica Paper Tubes for rod insulation in grid banks, resistors and other high temperature requirements. Tubes can be furnished in standard length of 36" or cut to a pre-determined length. Special order lengths are available. Round tubes are made to NEMA standards.

Inorganic tubes are made from muscovite mica paper bonded with our proprietory silicate binder and will withstand temperatures of 1800F. These tubes can be cut into bushings for high temperature tubular heater and piece applications. 

Rectangular and square configurations can be made from the same inorganic mica paper stock. Oval tubes are also available, as well as diamond shaped. Applications include core insulation for power coils.
