Mica, commercial qualities such as muscovite, is known world-wide for its high temperature threshold, dielectric strength and mechanical properties.
 
Muscovite (also known as white or Indian mica) is the most common mica mineral. 

We supply natural muscovite mica to meet ASTM D351 or Federal Specification HHI-536

In addition to block mica we also offer fabricated parts for a variety of applications.

Block mica is categorized by square inches of usable area and is available by the pound.

Product Description

In the Muscovy province of Russia, mica was once used as window panes. Muscovite mica derives its name from this usage of “Muscovy” glass.

The primary source of muscovite mica today is India.

Natural mica in raw (also called Block) form is classified by how many square inches of usable area can be obtain per piece.

Grade 3 block will yield a usable area of 10 to 15 square inches.
